Esta obra corresponde a una copia en pequeño formato, del original de N.Poussin (siglo XVII ) realizada por el pintor chileno Laureano Guevara (1889-1968). Esta presentaba una reentela anterior con mala adherencia lo cual alteraba el plano del soporte. Fue necesario remover esta tela y realizar una limpieza por el reverso. Luego se consolidó un rasgado y se realizó la limpieza del anverso para eliminar el barniz amarillento.
