Esta pintura perteneciente a la Colección Obispos del Museo del Carmen de Maipú, retrata al primer Obispo de Santiago (1561 a 1564). Su restauración fue un proceso complejo ya que la obra se encontraba en pésimas condiciones de conservación. Fue necesario re entelar la pintura para recuperar la estabilidad del soporte tela y luego realizar las acciones de restauración estética.
